For once, not brutally hot
The weather was downright decent for the Dayton Airshow this year! Usually it melts rubber it's so hot! But the action in the sky was indeed hot. With a return of the Brazilian Smoke Squadron and the Thunderbirds, we witnessed two top Demo teams. The Brazilians are truly amazing, and the Thunderbirds were in fine form. With C-17 and C-5 demos, we witnessed two of the USAF big boys. And with Sean D Tucker and Patty Wagstaff, we saw two of the best aerobats flying today. There were also warbirds and Tora, Tora, Tora; A-10 and Hornet Demos. And helos and barnstormers-- basically all we've come to expect from one of the top airshows in the business.
